The Soft Top Box Player allows you to display virtually any live
video stream or file full screen on a computer monitor or on any TV under your remote web page control. The STB also
automatically downloads and plays your HD video files and plays the most
recent file, one file, or all files. TV Station Remote Broadcasting With a STB in your studio and a DVME (or other live video source) at a remote location, your live video will appear on the STB automatically, making live remote broadcasting a snap. When you start a live stream, your video will just automatically appear on the STB without user action. The STB supports live RTMP for H264/Flash video, live HTTP/MMS for live WM, and even live local multicast. Video Signage Just upload your video files to your server or ours. The STB will download these files, including High Definition video, and play the video in a repeating loop. Configure STB to play the most recent file only, or to play all files. Remove a file from the STB by deleting if from the server. Ideal for kiosk displays, lobbies and similar. Use STB Anywhere Insert a cellular modem in your computer (or use our display computer or yours) -- the STB will play your live video and your file-based vides as you command. . Your Hardware Or OursThe STB runs on a Windows computer. Most modern computers don't have an analog composite video output, which is fine if you intend to display on computer monitors. But for TV stations and video-centric applications, you may want to avoid the cost and complexity of using a "scan converter" just to produce composite video. For this we offer our Decoder Computer -- a small, tabletop computer with Windows 7 and the STB installed and ready-to-go. The Decoder Computer gives you VGA & composite video output, along with analog (mini-jack) stereo audio. We also offer more powerful Digital Engine computer for high rate HD video. Web Control The STB works by staying in contact with our STB control server, where you can log in to tell your STBs what to do. The web control page allows you to:
