Remote Training of Company Sales Team and Distributors

Challenge:
Dow Chemical needed to provide timely information about its new products to its sales team and distributors.  The information had to be delivered in multimedia format (PPT, video, audio) in both live and on-demand modes.  In addition, viewers would need to view the material in various browsers and various platforms (PCs and Macs).  The Powerpoint slides had to be synchronized to the video and audio, and had to have sufficient resolution for easy reading.

Solution:
Discover Video provided Dow Chemical a video solution that would allow them to distribute important product information live and on-demand.  Each webcast would have one or more presenters and a PPT slide deck.   The invited viewers would go to the presentation webpage and login using their email.  The live sessions are distributed worldwide to hundreds of internal and external viewers.  Once complete each session is uploaded and available immediately for on-demand review by any viewers with permission.  The recorded sessions can be watched in their entirety or by PPT slide.   The video and audio are synchronized so that each slide can be viewed independently.

Videoconferencing for remote sales and marketing meetings

Challenge:
Killington Resorts, VT hosted many off site company sales and marketing meetings at its resort.   In some cases key employees could not make it physically to the off site meeting but wanted to participate.   Killington needed a way for remote participants to view and interact from remote locations.  

Solution:
Discover Video provided Killington resorts with a low cost, high quality video conferencing system.   During various company sales and marketing sessions the inPerson videoconferencing system is used to share the activities with employees that cannot make it to the event.   The portable system can be connected to large screens so that everyone at the meeting can see and hear the remote participant(s).   The system allowed Killington to booked additional events that would could be held at other venues.
