Jr Engineer / Sr. Technician
Discover Video seeks a highly motivated Junior Engineer or Senior Technician to join our Engineering team. Tthe position will encompass a variety of duties including software testing, server and PC configuration setups for customers, company IT management, assisting Principal Engineers in various duties, and other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should be familiar with software development, video technologies, streaming media, Microsoft and Apple environments, and is looking to gain experience that could lead to software development or other senior positions. Web site development and maintenance skills desired.
The position reports to the VP of Engineering.
BSE desired, or equivalent experience. Will consider motivated, non-degreed candidates.
Customer Support Engineer
We are looking for a senior Customer Support Engineer to help us continue to provide great support to our customers.
The ideal candidate should:
– Have experience with all computer platforms (windows, mac, smartphone, tablets)
– Be familiar with streaming technologies
– Have excellent communications skills, both oral and written (no heavy accents, please)
– Be knowledgeable about networking, Active Directory, and related enterprise technologies
– Be well organized
– Have a positive attitude and exhibit genuine customer care behaviors
Depending on the candidate, the position may include travel within the U.S. for on-site customer assistance.
